The MeetYourSchool platform is published and operated by PERIPLEA, a French simplified joint-stock company (SIREN 895 131 456), headquartered at 152 chemin de la Petite Bastide, 13770 Venelles, France, operating under the Groupe Adiona brand ("we"). We operate MeetYourSchool and its white-label instances run on behalf of our client higher-education institutions (the "Institutions"). This policy describes the personal data we process, why, and your rights.

1. Data we collect

• Candidate/student accounts: identity (first and last name), contact details (email, phone), application and profile information provided in forms (background, preferences, uploaded documents), event participations.
• Professional accounts (Institution staff): identity, professional email, role.
• Browsing data: pages viewed, traffic source (referrer, UTM campaign parameters, advertising click identifiers), IP address, visitor identifier. IP addresses are deleted from browsing history after 90 days.
• Data from services connected by Institutions: when an Institution connects its own tools (calendar, mailbox, CRM, advertising accounts), we process only the data strictly necessary for the enabled feature (see §4).

2. Purposes and legal bases

• Account, application and event registration management — performance of a contract / pre-contractual measures.
• Communication with candidates (email, SMS) — performance of a contract or legitimate interest of the Institution; consent where required.
• Audience measurement and campaign attribution (UTM, click identifiers) — legitimate interest; consent for trackers where required.
• Security, abuse prevention, logging — legitimate interest.

3. Data controllership

For white-label instances, the Institution is the data controller for its candidates' data; PERIPLEA acts as processor (Article 28 GDPR) under the agreement signed with each Institution.

4. Third-party services connected by Institutions (including Google APIs)

When an Institution connects a third-party service (e.g. Google Calendar, Gmail, Google Ads), the platform only accesses the data required for the feature:

• Google Ads: reading the Institution's own campaigns and performance metrics (impressions, clicks, costs), and creating or pausing campaigns at its request. This data is only visible to the administrators of the Institution concerned.
• MeetYourSchool's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. No data obtained through Google APIs is sold, used for advertising by us, or shared across Institutions.
• Each Institution can revoke access at any time from the platform (connector disconnection) or from its Google account (myaccount.google.com/permissions).

5. Recipients and processors

Data is hosted in the European Union by Scaleway SAS (France). We rely on technical processors (hosting, email/SMS delivery, video conferencing, payments), available upon request, bound by GDPR-compliant commitments.

6. Retention

Account and application data: duration of the relationship plus 3 years. Browsing history: IP address deleted after 90 days. Technical logs: 12 months. Institutions define their own retention periods for data they control.

7. Your rights

You have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability. Exercise them with the Institution concerned or at [email protected]. You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL (cnil.fr).

8. Cookies and trackers

The platform uses trackers necessary for operation (session, security) and, subject to consent, audience measurement and campaign attribution trackers. You can manage them through your browser settings or, where present, the site's consent banner.
